Fat prices moved higher out of the Australian and New Zealand markets, up sharply from the last report. Australian prices are trading high by US$35 – 50 and trading on tallow out of the New Zealand market is up by as much as US$85. Sources in both markets have reported very strong demand from Singapore in addition to higher prices being paid by smaller market buyers due to the increase in palm.
