Market Activity

The ruminant market saw action out of the Panhandle at lower numbers today, $170 – 200 FOB. Trading elsewhere was quiet with expectations of a busier day tomorrow.

The feathermeal market continues to climb with higher numbers reported out of the Mid South and Delmarva markets. Trading out of the Carolinas was reported steady. Sources have reported that local demand as well as export demand is driving values higher.
