Soybean Crush Central Illinois

The crush margin moved higher for the third straight week, improving as the value received from crush product sales outpaced a slight rise in the cost of soybeans over the past week. Meal sales increased by 4% while soybean oil sales values declined by 2%.  Surging soybean meal sales were able to outpace the decline in soybean oil values as well as withstand a penny per bushel rise in the cost of soybeans.
