Biodiesel and renewable diesel imports are low for January

Biodiesel production is off to its strongest start ever. Over the first two months of 2016 D4 production has totaled 257.5 million gallons, per the EPA’s EMTS data, and has outpaced 2015 production by 42%. It is 34% stronger than what was seen in 2014 and 19.5% more than 2012, which had held the prior record for the strongest start at 215.4 million gallons.
