Trading was up out of the Panhandle today, $265 – $275 FOB. Trading into the Eastern market was higher, $310 delivered. Sources have commented that the market remains firm and demand very strong. Porcine trading was done as high as $330 out of the Eastern IA/IL market and higher out of the Mo. River as well. Despite strong kills, availability remains tight.
