Market Activity

Trading was mostly quiet today with not a lot of action reported. The distillers corn oil market saw the topside of the Illinois market fall to $0.2400 with reports of trading at $0.2300, $0.2350 and $0.2400 FOB for the spot position. Sellers have reported that demand from the feed sector is steady, but biodiesel buyers are bidding prices lower. Production continues to run strong with over 8.3 million pounds of product estimated per day last week.
