A day after seeing crude oil prices close below $37 for the first time since early 2009, crude dropped another $1 per barrel, closing at $35.62. Prices are now flirting with the January 2009 low of $33.20. Prices were only briefly at that level. One would have to look all the way back to 2004 to see prices trading in this range.
