It was an extremely quiet day with no spot trading reported. A couple of sources reported formula sales for January in the BFT Chicago market, but no spot trading, bidding or offering was reported. Late yesterday a seller reported a $0.1900 bid on Chicago Renderer BFT, but that was turned down.

Soybean oil has been sneaking higher, closing out the day at $0.3208 and up just under $0.05 since the middle of November. The higher price could lend some strength…
