Biodiesel margins rise, but window of opportunity limited
Biodiesel margins continued to rise during the week to Friday November 22. The bean oil/heating oil (BOHO) spread boosted margins by falling to its lowest level since August 27.
The market was very quiet today with not a lot of action reported. CWG did trade a big higher out of the Mo. River market, $0.1725 – 0.1800. Sources reported difficulty in generating interest to buy or sell in the Midwestern yellow grease markets. Corn oil continues to be quiet with November well sold and sellers don’t seem in a hurry to take the lower bids for December material.
