Distillers Corn Oil Production – Ethanol production drops 4,000 b/d to 948,000, ethanol imports land on the west coast

According to the EIA’s Weekly Petroleum Status Report, ethanol production edged lower by 4,000 barrels to a 948,000 b/d average. Stocks expanded by 2%, and gasoline demand was up 2.7%.  Ethanol imports resurfaced for the first time in 19 weeks. Decreased production lowered corn use by 60,000 bushels to 14.12 million bushels per day.
