Malaysian palm oil exports end July lower than expected

Exports picked up over the final 5 days of the month, narrowing the month over month July trade gap from down 18% from June to down 6.4%. The bump up in trade activity was not enough though, and left a bit of disappointment in the market. Exports were expected to fare better in the second half of July, given Indonesiaโ€™s new export tariff system. The drop off in export activity appears worse now due to analystโ€ฆ
