Malaysian palm exports down 18% July 1-25
Palm exports from Malaysia continue to struggle on weaker than anticipated demand. According to cargo surveyor Intertek Testing, palm oil shipments have declined nearly 18% this month as demand from the EU and India falters. Crude palm oil (CPO) exports are off by 23% while refined palm oil and palm stearin are down 32% and 45% respectively.
