EIA January Biodiesel Production and Feedstock Use

The EIA released their Monthly Biodiesel Production Report for January and the data from their survey showed that 72 million gallons of biodiesel was produced. This is a sizeable increase, 9 million gallons over what the EPA reported through their EMTS data. According to the EIA, January production is down 51 million gallons from December and a million gallons less then what was produced January 2014.
