The protein market continued the trend of quiet making for a fairly uneventful week. Ruminant MBM did trade out of the Mo. River market at $362 – 370 and porcine trading was reported lower, $360 – 367 FOB Mo. River. Ruminant blood traded at $875 FOB River to round out the day’s action.
Porcine MBM had been seeing some strength, but continued strong kills and a weaker SBM market may put the brakes on the rally.
