MBM, both ruminant and porcine, were steady this week. Ruminant MBM prices held firm this week, despite a drop in the SBM futures price. With many looking at May SBM contract, the weekly SBM average of $329 puts the weekly MBM average of $364 at 110%. Porcine blood meal jumped today, four loads traded between $830 – 900 FOB Midwest.
