Australian values for both domestic and exports are up on the back of improving demand. Australian tallow is very well priced in relationship to the North American tallow and Malaysian palm stearin. Despite a slaughter that continues at a strong rate and with it, plenty of tallow, sellers were able to push values higher. Whispers of trading into Singapore persist, but tonnage reports have been nonspecific.
