Soybean Crush Central Illinois

The estimated crush margin fell 1.4% or 3 cents per bushel over the past week. Higher soybean prices and weaker soybean oil values more than offset a slight increase in the value received from soybean meal sales. The value of soybean oil and meal per bushel of beans crushed rose 11 cents per bushel, while the cost of soybeans increased 14 cents. This moved the estimated crush margin from $2.42 per bushel to $2.39.
