Palm Oil Prices Consolidate after Production Lead Rally

CPO prices has climbed nearly 9% so far in February albeit from depressed levels given the nearly 50% slide in prices over 2014.   Prices have increased due to a fall in output in Malaysia as unfavorable weather has hampered production. Malaysian CPO production declined 15 per cent to 1.16 million tons in January 2015 from 1.4 million tons in December 2014.
