Trading in the MBM market was fairly quiet this afternoon. Trading was done out of the Panhandle market at $347 – 357 and into the Eastern market as high as $445. Porcine trading was done in good volume out of the Eastern IA/IL market at $375, down $15 from the last reported level. Mo. River trading was done $360 – 380. Strong hog slaughter continues to keep the porcine sellers well supplied with material. A $360 porcine market may pressure the ruminant market later…
