Market Activity

A number of cars of ruminant MBM traded out of the Panhandle market at $381 and $384 FOB. Porcine trading was done as high as $420.

Ruminant blood meal traded lower at $1100 FOB Panhandle. Sources continue to report pressure on both blood meal markets, but more so on porcine. The most oft heard quote in regards to the porcine blood meal market this week has been, “if you bid it, you will own it.”
