Trading was quiet this afternoon with only a few loads of porcine MBM trading at $440 and porcine blood trading at $1210 out of the Midwest market.
Protein prices slid lower last week with renewed kills and lower priced soybean meal values helping to steer the market. Full week kills have more MBM coming out of both the porcine and ruminant facilities. Some buyers may still be working through their holiday cushion and this has helped to ease prices lower….
