The hide market this week picked up some activity towards the end with most Asia buyers back from the Lunar New holiday. A couple suppliers noted that China was still quiet but a few indicated buyer interest from a wide base of countries. Most of the business was done at prices close to previous levels. Some called the market firm and a few took lower money.
