Runner Market Commentary

There was quite a bit of activity in the runner market this week for May. Four loads of runners sold at $1.26 FOB along with one at $1.18 and one at $1.03. North American sources have remarked that $1.26 seems very high relative to EU trading and the strong US dollar, but good spot volume has traded at these higher prices.

European trading was done in good volume at €0,90 and €0,93 which translates to US$ trading around US$1.00 – $1.04….
