The market is starting out with early offerings from steady to a couple dollars higher. Steer selections are firmer and cows are holding relatively steady. Some producers/suppliers are starting the week on an upbeat note, declaring the bottom was formed last week and we will see prices firmer. It’s too early to tell if customers will follow this thinking or standoff.
