Biodiesel margins rise, but window of opportunity limited
Biodiesel margins continued to rise during the week to Friday November 22. The bean oil/heating oil (BOHO) spread boosted margins by falling to its lowest level since August 27.
Korean tanners returned from the harvest holiday yesterday and many China tanners will remain out until Thursday and Friday for the last of the autumn holidays. This should keep the China market toward the quiet side, but suppliers are hoping interest from Korean tanners might jump start the market.
