Reports of large sales volumes last week were confirmed today by the expansive numbers on the USDA export sales report. Some suppliers who were hoping last week’s sales numbers would put a floor on the sliding hide market, expressed disappointment with the follow through bids this week. Sales so far have mixed prices some trades at steady levels and some edging slightly lower.
