Hide producers struggled to maintain steady prices this week, giving back $1 to $2 on some selections while holding a few close to steady. Some report interest was mixed and a little better than last week; however, buyers’ price ideas were lower, hence limiting sales. BBS traded around $68 to $69, HNS from $71 to $72 and HTS from $58 all the way up to $62. Collies were down in the $53 range and brands around $55 to $58 depending on quality.
