The market continues at a slow pace with buyers trying to lower prices a dollar or so on early bidding. A lot of people in the trade feel overseas tanners are trying to offset increases brought on by the strong US dollar, which against certain currencies has raised cost by $3 or more per hide. The few offers are out at steady to lower on certain selections with the balance expected to be similar and with plenty of hides available.
