No major changes either upward or downward in leather orders have been reported by tanners following the CNY in the pre-Hong Kong APLF countdown. This likely is because leather business is falling within projections for many tanners, which means changes to hide purchasing will not be needed. As is often the case in the time period ahead of the show, the hide market appears a little firmer this week and prices are higher on a few recent trades….
