The US hide market begins the week on a quiet footing with the long Memorial Day holiday weekend and Dragon Boat Festival sidelining many of the folks on both sides. After a couple weeks of decent sales, last week producer stopped chasing the market, keeping prices more or less stable—possibly at the cost of lower volumes.
