Slightly more than 1.1 million head were dispatched to slaughter in August, showing an increase of 4% compared to July and a 5% increase year-on-year. However, if the data is adjusted by the number of business days, the comparison with last month shows a drop of 1% and remains unchanged in relation to 12 months ago.
