Biodiesel margins rise, but window of opportunity limited
Biodiesel margins continued to rise during the week to Friday November 22. The bean oil/heating oil (BOHO) spread boosted margins by falling to its lowest level since August 27.
Despite valiant efforts by some suppliers to pump up the market, US hides traded mostly steady last week with quality big packer steers solid and cows and processor hides a little soft. Packer Native Steers traded for $60, Butts, from $53 to $56 and HTS from $47 to $50.
