Biodiesel margins rise, but window of opportunity limited
Biodiesel margins continued to rise during the week to Friday November 22. The bean oil/heating oil (BOHO) spread boosted margins by falling to its lowest level since August 27.
It is quiet start for the US hide market this week with a few early offers unchanged from last week’s prices. Several US producers raised prices $1 to $2 last week, finding resistance and few tanners who proved willing to pay up money.
