The US hide market was relatively quiet last week with Asia buyers just starting to return from the Lunar New Year holiday. More should be back in the market this week, but it’s not clear how motivated to buy they will be. Last week in general, bidding was lower and a good part of the business that was done took place from $0.50 to $1 lower than previous levels.
