The US hide market activity remains quiet with many of the industry representatives traveling to attend the APLF in Hong Kong next week. A limited amount of trading is reported, but it is expected most business will take place when buyers and sellers meet face to face. Except for a few outliers, prices are $1-$2 softer than they were a couple weeks ago as demand for upper shoe leather continues to be a challenge in the market.
