The US hide market saw little change last week with volumes on the smaller side. Suppliers tried to hold prices from moving lower and were partially successful with prices more stable than the past several weeks. There was very little movement reported on top-tier steer selections, while mid-to-low level steers and cow hides slipping $0.50 to $1.
