In the US hide market, the overnight offer lists appear to have a fairly large number of hides ready for close-in shipments with prices similar to last week’s levels. As of today, depending on source, buyers are showing mixed interest from minimal to good; however, prices are quite low in most cases. It is also reported that some of the larger tanners, as well as China buyers, are notably less engaged than usual.
