The US hide market was quiet this week with hide prices edging down a dollar or more on some selections from the prior week. Demand remained spotted with a noted absence of large volume buyers and many of the bids aggressively lower than last week’s trading levels. The latest prices reported for were packer HNS at $61.50 to $62, BBS at $42.50, BS at $44 to 46.50, HNH at $44 and HBH from $36 to $38. There were fewer reports on cows with prices…
