As most in the trade expected, there was not much change in the US and global hide markets last week with prices soft and not enough demand to keep up with the supplies of hides. For the US, prices rolled back around $1 with the Jacobsen Hide Index closing Friday at $40.89, down $0.65 from Friday the week prior.
