Today’s USDA report for week-ending October 4 showed cured hide and wet blue export sales decreased 125% from 654,499 the previous week to 202,406 while export shipment increased 20.83% to 438,430 from 529,766. It is important to note that the sales numbers were skewed by a wet blue cancellation to the Dominican Republic of 147,500.
