The US hide market continued the past several weeks’ sideways trend. Last week, once again, buyers pushed to lower prices, but producers resisted and the bulk of sales maintained steady levels. Better-grading material in particular found enough willing buyers, however, for lower-end hides it remained tough to find a home.
