For the past several weeks, the tone in the market has been softer although prices for the most part, drifted sideways with the demand for the hides sold for November shipments supporting it. A few exceptions were HNS and heavier hides which began to move lower. This week sellers were no longer able hold prices, with steer selections trading a dollar or more lower and some including HNS, BBS and Jumbo steers giving up two or more dollars….
