The export statistics from the USDA remain absent this week due to the government shutdown, which seems far from being resolved any time soon. The market remained quiet as people slowly return from the New Year holiday and by most accounts, sales volumes are down with prices mixed from steady to slightly lower. Several people noted they was a decent amount of bids; however, many of the prices were too far apart to do any business.
