Feathermeal Exports March 2020

Feathermeal Exports March 2020

The protein market was fairly quiet today with few changes reported. Extra mixed species MBM and high relative prices to soybean meal are pulling on the bottom end of the ruminant MBM range, but pure beef material is consistent above the $300 FOB mark.

Export data were released this week for March. Feathermeal exports were lower from February and March of 2019 at 7,210 MT. Indonesia was the biggest buyer at 3,534 MT followed by Chile at 2,326 MT.
