March Export Numbers for Yellow Grease and Tallow

Trading was very quiet to close out the week.

Export data were released this week for March. Inedible tallow exports were at their highest monthly export total since November 2015. Singapore was the largest importer in March, buying 19,000 MT. Mexico followed at 15,184 MT and Canada was a distant third at 6,886. Total inedible tallow exports for March were reported at 45,310 MT.

Yellow grease exports were down, estimated at 33,701 MT for March compared to 39,028 in February and 53,908 MT in March of 2019. Singapore was the largest buyer of yellow grease in March at 9,799 MT. The UK imported 9,120 MT and Germany 3,128 MT.
