Distillers Corn Oil Production Higher

Ethanol production was estimated up again last week by the EIA at 841 million barrels per day. Production is up half of a percent from the week prior and down 22 percent compared to last year. Distillers corn oil production is estimated at 7.9 million pounds per day, up 52 percent from the low point from the week ending April 24th. The extra production and cheaper animal fat prices have pushed distillers corn oil prices lower in the spot market and the fundamentals suggest the market is at risk for a further correction to the downside…
