Licensed hemp acreage is a moving target.  The numbers aren’t reliable for supply and demand calculations but do provide another data point to look at trends.  Last year’s permitted acreage exceeded 500,000, with 25% or less actually harvested, perhaps 20%, by our estimates.  This year we believe over 450,000 acres have been licensed, as detailed in Hemp Industry Daily’s
