Today’s Market

The US hide market reported steady prices with exception of packer Branded Heifers at $15, which are down from the last traded level. Heavy Texas Steer were reported at $26 and Colorado Branded Steers at $20. For the most part, the market is tracking steady at current pricing for the majority of the selections. The housing market is gaining attention, with September home starts increased 1.9 percent from the prior month.
