Mid-week brought a few modest changes to Dairy Cow and Native Cow hide prices. Northern Dairy Cow prices increased $1 to $19 for packer material. Northern Native Cow hides are steady on packer selections at $14 but increased $1 for processor material. There have been more reports of resistance from European and Chinese customers, mainly due to the worsening COVID-19 situation in Europe causing further lockdowns.

Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) updated their figures for retail auto sales in the US and August reached $102.1 billion, which is above last year’s levels by 5 percent.
