Beverages were projected to stimulate massive demand for CBD Isolate, but FDA policy, or lack thereof, has cooled that segment considerably. This is nothing new to anyone in the hemp or cannabinoid space, particularly those affected by collapsing CBD isolate prices, or hemp prices in general. Nobody has a roadmap for how the elements of policy or supply chains will develop during the course of rolling out beverage lines. From an infrastructure perspective, adding CBD to beverages is a non-issue. Technical issues have been addressed by manufacturers, allowing for product to adequately remain in suspension, though continual improvements will likely punctuate the evolution of cannabinoid infused beverages.
